Sur le Mur Fine Art and graffiti, founder and owner, Megan J. Phillips has always been in the art world, one way, or another. She started her own art consulting, curating, and management company to assist emerging artists, work with established artists, and help clients with quality acquisitions.

Megan worked with Richard Duardo, (The West Coast Warhol) for several years until his untimely passing. He was her mentor, friend, and really expanded her expertise in graffiti, street art, and printmaking. Together, they worked with many great artists over the years. She was under Richard’s tutelage whilst he worked with Shepard Fairey, Banksy, and Blek Le Rat. They worked at LACMA together, and helped curate the Fine Art Print Fair. Megan has helped patrons donate important pieces of art to museums around the world.

Currently, Megan has projects in the works with major American artists. However, her interest and expertise is in taking an emerging artist to an international level/market. She worked in the art world prior to becoming a Child Psychologist, specializing in Early Child Development, but has transitioned from her Beverly Hills practice back into the art world. Megan feels blessed to work with children, as it is her calling, however, art is her passion.

Megan J. Phillips holds degrees in Art History and Restoration, Media Management, and Graduate degrees in Psychology and Child Development. Active in community service, she lectures, and volunteers her time working in pediatrics, implementing art therapy programs for children on the spectrum, hospitalized children, and terminally ill children in hospitals in Los Angeles, Vancouver, Paris, and Monaco.

Megan J. Phillips is a member of MOCA, LACMA, The Getty, The Metropolitan Museum, The Vancouver Art Gallery, and the Louvre, Paris.

"I have a knack for picking great talent. Having collected art for years, all my pieces are by artists who are now in permanent collections in museums around the world. They were unknown, or emerging at the time, but I knew they had great potential. That being said, I am more than confident about my artist’s talent and their very bright futures." - Megan J. Phillips
